FEATURES
High-Output Hydraulic Proportioner for
Spray Foam or Polyurea
Gracos high-output H-40, and its high-pressure sibling
H-XP3, are the industry flagships. Graco has managed to
create an ultra-reliable system which combines the classical
horizontal Gusmer pump line with Gracos computer-supported
controls and engineering quality. Extremely robust yet
simple pump design keeps downtime to an absolute minimum,
while generating profits for its owner. A long list of
features, including pressure gauges that monitor transfer
pump performance, help the foam installer maintain peak
productivity even in cold weather applications.
-
Maximum output of 45 lb/min (20 kg/min) in foam configurations
-
Choice of maximum pressures between 2000 psi (138 bar,
13.8 MPa) and 3500 psi (240 bar, 24.0 MPa)
-
Supports up to 410 ft. of
Graco
heated hose
-
Various hybrid heater designs of up to 20.4 kW provide
extreme heating power
-
Advanced diagnostics
-
Analog gauges for incoming material pressure and temperature
-
New electronic design with separate boards for motor,
and all three heater zones
-
Many ratios besides 1:1 available. Ratio can be changed
in the field.
-
Upgrade to Reactor-IP (in-plant) system available with
timed shot sequences and more
-
The applicator can set pressure imbalance breakpoint
at which system shuts down
-
Gun crossovers are almost a thing of the past, since
the system shuts down in case of ratio imbalance

APPLICATIONS
Setting new standards in the spray foam
industry, the H-40 is one of the most versatile machines
today.
Generally speaking, the H-40 or the H-XP3 should be chosen
for applications requiring high output, high heat capacity
such as in cold/very cold climates, or high uptime. While
this system requires a little more initial investment
than a smaller system, the return on investment is very
high for a number of reasons including its legendary uptime
and long life expectancy. Previous models have lasted
more than 10 and often up to 20 years.
Foam
Roofing
No matter how large or small the roof, the Graco proportioner
H-40 will produce the foam needed to finish the job on
time. This machine can easily yield 10,000 to 15,000 lbs.
of foam in a single shift as long as your crew can keep
up.
Spray
Foam Insulation
This machine is right for high output, large scale residential
or commercial spray foam insulation. Especially in large
commercial applications, the H-40 foam system will cut
production time significantly.
In-plant
OEM
This metering unit is well suited for refrigerators, cold
storage panels and similar injection work. This system
is also available as an upgraded version IPH-40, which
supports timed shots in combination with the AR-D and
other guns.
Polyurea
and other Coatings
These applications are best executed using the H-XP3,
especially in case of larger job sizes. All of the listed
coatings perform best when applied using high heat and
high pressure. The massive pre-heaters generate over 20
kW while the static pressure can reach 3500 psi. The finished
product will reflect this.
