FoamWorks are a distributor of Graco's industry leading line of Reactor proportioners. There are many models to choose from based on application, heater capacity, flow rates and more. Some Graco proportioners are specifically designed to spray polyurethane or Icynene foam, while others are suited for high pressure applications like polyurea coatings.

All Reactor proportioners or metering units are designed to mix two components at a certain ratio, which is usually but not always 1:1. Proportioners provide three main functions: keeping the desired ratio of the two materials being processed, maintaining a certain, very high pressure, and heating the materials to a certain temperature. Modern polyurethane, polyurea or hybrid systems perform best within narrowly defined ratios. Our proportioners achieve variances of less than 1% if the temperatures and resulting viscosity are on target. The high pressures provide optimal mixing inside the spray gun. Current technology makes it almost impossible to make bad foam or coatings by having incorporated computer controls which maintain ratio, pressures and temperatures or which stop the proportioner should there be a malfunction.

Graco’s Highest Output Hydraulic Proportioner for Spray Foam

The hydraulic H-50 is Graco’s highest output proportioner in its prominent Reactor line of foam systems. Introduced in September 2009, the H-50 is a close technical relative of the somewhat smaller H-40 and H-25. Both of these systems were instant leaders as they represented the very successful marriage of the classical horizontal Gusmer pump line with Graco’s computer-supported controls and engineering quality. Extremely robust yet simple pump design keeps downtime to an absolute minimum, while generating profits for its owner. A long list of features, including pressure gauges that monitor transfer pump performance, help the foam contractor maintain peak productivity even in cold weather applications.
